LAKE PLACID TRAINING CAMP

JUNE 24th-26th

Come join Terrier Tri for its annual triathlon training camp in the beautiful village of LAKE PLACID. We will review the course over the 3 days to prepare you for the race of your life as you train next to other Lake Placid athlete & teammates.

 

ALL ATHLETES WELCOME

This camp is for all levels as we will break up into groups based in fitness. The 3 days will give you a first hand view of the swim, bike and run courses as well as lectures and clinics throughout the weekend. There will be course assistance during training as well as leaders for each group. 

Even if you are not racing Lake Placid come join for this epic training as the terrain and scenery makes this location second-to-none. Training in Lake Placid is fantastic training for any triathlete.

 

SCHEDULE

Friday 6/24
2:00p - Meet at swim start for welcome meeting, swim practice and swim course review. We will complete one loop (1.2 miles) during practice. Bring all swim gear. 
7:00p - Team dinner/bike course & psychology lecture/Q & A's 

Saturday 6/25
7:00a - Meet at transition (The Oval). Please bring all swim, bike & run gear and nutrition. 
7:30a - Swim one loop 
8:30a - Break into groups and ride 1 loop (56 miles) + 20 miles. Run 6 miles as 3 out – 3 back. This will get you to the larger hills on the run. 
7:00p - Team dinner/run & nutrition Lecture/Q & A's 

Sunday 6/26
8:00a - Meet at transition (The Oval) for 13.1 mile run. 
10:30a - Transition practice (or when last person finishes) 
1:00p - Camp over & final Q&A's, optional EZ swim for recovery.
